A Professional A Certificate is required in order to qualify for an AQC. Teachers must also complete one of the four programs outlined below to receive an AQC:
An AQC is issued only upon the formal application of the teacher. Applications for an AQC must be completed and submitted online to the SPTRB. To begin an application, sign in to your SPTRB account. Click Educator Profile > Applications to access the online AQC application form.
The teacher is responsible for ensuring that all official documents required for the evaluation are forwarded by the educational institution(s) to the SPTRB. An official transcript is required from each institution attended. Applications will be assessed once all required documents are received.
An evaluation of coursework is made in accordance with the SPTRB Regulatory Bylaws Schedule E and is based upon official transcripts.
